What a tiring weekend I had last week. I was invited in a christening for my friend's child. I was thinking of not going since I don't have any idea how to get to the venue and she was not replying to my messages. I was already on my way home until a received a message from her. So I AM invited. And I'm the GODMOTHER?! I stopped by the mall on my way home and bought a gift for the baby. Then I stayed up late trying to upload and send my friend's megabyte files. I only have prepaid interent at home so the whole thing took hours to upload! Finally, I gave up and went to sleep since I got somewhere to go the next day.

The next day, I went to the christening. My friend told me to go straight to the reception and so I did! I was kind of worried that there might not be too many faces that I know at the party. But surprise! surprise! Almost everyone that I know was there! I chatted and updated myself for some news about them as they did me. Its been quite a long time since we all last saw each other.

Its also kinda funny.... they're not actually my barkada, they were my classmates back in college.... but the whole feeling felt like we were all old friends way way back. Sure, we all talk to each other every once in a while back then but this was just different. It felt like we didn't have separate lives and barkadas in college... it felt like we were barkadas since day 1 of our college lives. It almost felt like a reunion. Almost everyone has changed, a lot of maturity went on throughout the whole three years that passed by.

It was kinda nice seeing all of them again...

And kinda funny when I spent almost P300 for the baby's gift only to go back home have have my P300 back! XD

When I got home, a neighbor of mine, a highschool student, asked me if I could help her out on layouting a project of theirs. I helped her out with the layout, not expecting to get paid since she was just asking for help. I was surprised that after I've finished the job, she asked me how much is the work that I've done. She's just a student and I know how hard being a student was in my time. I told her that it was up to her. She paid me, P300 for the simple layout that I did.

That was the first time I've gotten paid for doing some outside work from the office.

Today? I'm here in a computer shop, I have FINALLY and SUCCESSFULLY uploaded and sent the megabyte files to my friend. But was just part I, hehehehehe. With this hard favor that I'm doing for him? He better treat me out the next time we meet! XD
